Fred Paine is an ordained minister and pastored in Texas for 12 years before joining the Victorious Christian Living International staff in 1999. He is a master trainer in the Victorious Christian Life Institute. Fred has a Bachelors and Masters degree from Texas A & M in Biology and a Doctorate degree in Biblical Counseling.

Dr. Ray L’Amoreaux, CEO and President, VCLI
Ray L’Amoreaux is an ordained minister and pastored in Buckeye, AZ for several years. In January 2004, Ray became the President/CEO of Victorious Christian Living International and made the ministry accessible to people around the world by focusing on creating an online presence.
Ray has a Bachelors degree in Practical Ministry and a Doctorate degree in Biblical Counseling.
Dr. Sheryl Nobley, Chancellor
Sheryl Nobley joined the Victorious Christian Living International staff in 1999, leaving an accomplished career in teaching and coaching at the collegiate level. Sheryl has a Bachelors degree in Education from the University of Arizona, a Doctorate degree in Biblical Counseling, and is also a certified Life Coach. At VCLi she serves as Director of Human Resources and oversees the major fundraising events.
Dr. Laurie Southwick, Dean of Faculty & Students
Laurie Southwick joined the Victorious Christian Living International staff in 1987 and currently serves as the Director of Training. Laurie has been a pastor’s wife since 1978 and a church retreat speaker for over 25 years. She has traveled around the United States, as well as Africa, India, Poland and Mexico facilitating discipleship training conferences.
Dr. Sue L’Amoreaux, Director of Admissions and Trainer
Sue L’Amoreaux is on staff at Victorious Christian Living International and currently serves as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Sue is an ordained minister and holds a Doctorate degree in Biblical Counseling. Ray and Sue have been married for over 50 years. She is the mother of 4 daughters.
Dr. Valerie Paine, Trainer
Valerie has a Bachelors degree in Education and a Doctorate degree in Biblical Counseling. She and her husband, Fred, have traveled and taught extensively for the ministry. They have hosted online radio shows and webinars with listeners from around the world.

Kathy Swapp, Trainer
Kathy Swapp has a Masters degree in Biblical Counseling. She is a retired dental hygienist and now teaches and trains women to bring healing in spirit, mind, and body.
Kathy is married to Keith and has children and grandchildren.
Matt Nystrom, Trainer
Matt became a full-time staff member at Victorious Christian Living International in 2001. There he did counseling, taught SALT conferences, and ministered in prisons. In 2012, Matt joined the tech team at Pure Heart and served in the videography ministry. Matt holds a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling.
Summer Murphy, Trainer
Summer earned her Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Victorious Christian Life Institute. She is a wife, a mother of four amazing kids, and a women’s ministry leader. Summer has counseled many women struggling with trauma, abuse, homosexuality, gender identity, anxiety, depression, and many more life struggles.
Stuart Watkins, Trainer
Stuart Watkins is a retired military veteran with 30 years of dedicated service, currently serving as a Board Member for Victorious Christian Living (VCLi). Since 2000, he has been actively involved with VCLi, teaching the SALT along with his wife, Katy various countries and war zones. Stuart is passionate about honoring Veterans and is a known World War II history enthusiast, often participating in events related to this era.
Katy Watkins, Trainer
Katy Watkins joined Victorious Christian Living International in 2021. She brings over 20 years of Desktop Publishing, Web Design, and Knowledge Management experience in the areas of technology, leadership, counseling, coaching, and training. Katy has a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling. She is the Director of our Biblical Counselors Network.
Cathy McKay, Trainer
Cathy McKay is an ordained minister and began working with Victorious Christian Living International in 2002. Cathy’s main focus at VCLi is counseling and working with students enrolled in the VCL Institute. Cathy has a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling, and Adult Education and Training from the University of Phoenix. She has spent many years working in human resources and adult education.
Emily Edwards Medanich, Trainer
Emily has been involved with Victorious Christian Living since 2000. She is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and has a Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling and a Doctorate Degree in Theological Studies in Christian Counseling.
Emily is the author of several books on prayer, rejection, forgiveness, preparedness for marriage, including Grace Letters and Table Grace published through VCL.
Josiah Strotz, Trainer
Josiah earned his Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Victorious Christian Life Institute.
He is a Colorado native and serves as the worship leader for Sovereign Heights Church in Idledale.
Josiah has led Bible studies and youth groups for his church and will attempt to share the Lord wherever he can.
Kimberly Gibson, Trainer
Kim Gibson is a mother to 5 children. She has been a pastor’s wife since 2004. She has been actively serving in ministry since 2003. She also has a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling through VCLi.
Kim desires to come alongside other women to help them discover God’s heart for them, realize their God-given worth, and understand who He created them to be.
